How to
access doctor, nurse or health care
assistant appointments
All surgeries are by appointment
only.
You may arrange a
routine review with any Doctor
within the practice. Please advise
the receptionist of your preference.
The doctors usually allow 10 minutes
for each consultation. Although this
is longer than many practices set
aside, it may be possible to only
cover one health problem in that
time.
You will be asked
about the kind of problem or
symptoms you have when making an
appointment. This enables us to
offer you the most appropriate help
or appointment. All such discussions
are of course strictly confidential.
See later for our confidentiality
code of conduct.
We aim to see patients with urgent
problems on the same day. However,
it may not be possible to see the
doctor of your choice. Such
appointments are for the one urgent
problem only.
The time allowed for nurse
appointments varies according to the
reason for the appointment.

We also offer an
internet booking service.
Please contact reception to obtain
details of this.
